The 19th Heads of State and Government Summit of the Group of 20 (G20) will take place in November 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, marking Brazil's first term as the G20 rotating presidency as South America’s largest economy.

Ana Cristina Carvalho, Chair of the Tourism Association at Federation Chambers of Foreign Trade (FCCE) of Brazil, shared in an interview with China News Network that this year, which marks the 50th anniversary of Brazil-China diplomatic ties, has seen significant progress in bilateral relations. In particular, enhanced diplomatic relations have made travel between the two countries more accessible.

Ana further noted that this year’s G20 in Rio offers a comprehensive platform for participants to discuss topics such as health, education, and urban quality of life. 中俄东线天然气管道工程北起黑龙江黑河，南至上海，是我国四大油气战略通道的重要组成部分，全线按照北段、中段、南段分段建设。南段工程起自河北永清，止于上海，全长1509公里，其中新建安平—泰兴段和南通—甪直段管道共1243公里，安平—泰兴段管道已于2022年投产运行。本次完工的是中俄东线南通—甪直段工程，也是中俄东线的最后一段工程。
