联调联试结束后，集大原高铁将展开运行试验，通过初步验收、安全评估、达标评定后，预计今年年底具备开通运营条件。届时，从呼和浩特至大同的高铁动车组不必绕道张家口境内，运行时间将由原先最快156分钟压缩至1个多小时，太原至大同的运行时间将由原先2小时左右压缩至90分钟左右，为方便沿线人民群众出行、加快区域间人文交流和经济交往构建起新的快速通道。(完)
