据统计，国庆假期期间，云南铁路客流持续保持高位运行。从9月30日至10月6日，国铁昆明局已累计发送旅客292.5万人次，其中中老铁路国内段累计发送旅客44.3万人次，同比增长25.8%。10月1日当天，发送旅客量达到53.3万人次，创下了历史同期单日发送旅客量的新高。整个假期期间，运输工作整体呈现出安全、平稳、有序的良好态势。
